David Raya transfer news – next club odds: Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea locked in battle for £40m Brentford goalkeeper
TOTTENHAM are winning the battle to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
That’s according to Ladbrokes, who’ve installed Spurs as 11/4 favourites to clinch his signature before the transfer window closes in September.

But this far from a one-horse race.
Manchester United are second in the betting markets at 10/3, followed Premier League trio West Ham, Chelsea and Aston Villa at 8/1.
Brighton are slightly further back at 11/1, comfortably ahead of 20/1 candidates Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Crystal Palace.
Raya’s future is under the microscope after the goalkeeper rejected several contract offers from Brentford.
His deal is set to expire in June 2024, and he looks likely to leave the Gtech Community Stadium unless there’s a late U-turn.
Brentford are believed to value their stopper at £40million, despite the fact he’ll be eligible to leave on a free transfer next summer.

The Bees are also close to agreeing a deal for Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken, who has a modest £12million release clause in his contract.
The situation has alerted Tottenham and several other top-flight clubs, with Spurs particularly eager to replace veteran Hugo Lloris between the sticks.
Everton’s Jordan Pickford could also become an option for Spurs although that would hinge on the Toffees’ fight for survival.
There are also suggestions that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wants to replace David de Gea, while Chelsea’s incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to bring in his own goalkeeper.
Andre Onana is supposedly the preferred target for Chelsea, but Raya offers proven Premier League experience and could hit the ground running.
