Fernandes’ future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain following four-and-a-half years at the club.

SunSport revealed this week that the 29-year-old is considering a move ahead of next season.

It comes after Fernandes hinted earlier this month that he could quit for a fresh challenge after the Euros.

According to the Mirror, that fresh challenge could be with Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants his current club to sign Fernandes, who has been made their major summer transfer target.

Al-Nassr are willing to do whatever it takes to sign him, the report adds.

However, they accept it would be difficult to lure the midfielder to Saudi Arabia, but remain prepared to test United’s resolve with a lucrative offer.

Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the Portugal international in the summer.

Fernandes, who was made United captain last summer, has scored 79 goals and provided 64 assists in 230 appearances for the clubs.

He is also the Red Devils’ top scorer this season with 15 strikes across all competitions.

Fernandes still has two years remaining on his current contract.

A move to Al-Nassr would see him once again link up with Ronaldo, who he has played with for both Portugal and United.
