Conor McGregor slammed by UFC star Tom Aspinall after sending Brit bizarre death threats ahead of fight return
TOM ASPINALL has responded to Conor McGregor’s shock death threat.
The surging British heavyweight found himself the subject of a surprise Twitter tirade from The Notorious last month after giving his thoughts on his upcoming fight with Michael Chandler.

And he was left gobsmacked after McGregor threatened to scupper one of his sponsorship deals and put him six feet under.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, he said: “I honestly don’t know [why he was so angry].
“I have so much respect for Conor, I would never disrespect him or anybody else. I’m not that kind of guy.”
Aspinall, 29, insists he doesn’t want to feud with the UFC’s poster boy or anybody else for that matter.
He said: “I’m an adult, I ain’t trying to beef with nobody.
“If I’m trying to beef with anyone, I want to be someone in my division, so we can at least have a fight and make some money off it.
“No idea. Literally, all I said was, ‘I’m not as interested in Conor’s fight as I was in other fights coming up.’
“That was it. No disrespect meant to anybody.”

He continued: “I don’t want a beef with nobody, bro.We don’t need that kind of beef.
“But he’s angry about it, or he was – I don’t know how it feels at the moment. But who knows what he’s doing.”
Despite the death threat and vow to “starve” him financially, Aspinall remains a big fan of McGregor.
He said: “I’m a massive fan. Conor’s a massive inspiration for me.
“He’s an Irish guy, I’m an English guy – they’re really close to each other, and he’s done massive things in the sport.
“I was a bit like, ‘Wow, I didn’t mean to offend anybody.’”
Aspinall is currently in the final stages of recovering from the horrific knee injury he suffered in his showdown with Curtis Blaydes last July.
McGregor, meanwhile, is gearing up for a showdown with former Bellator lightweight champion Chandler.
A date for their clash, however, hasn’t been finalised as the Irishman has yet to re-enter the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool.
McGregor, 34, must be in the pool for a minimum of six months before he’s eligible to compete – meaning the earliest he can return is mid-September.
