COACH OGUM DID NOT EXHIBIT RESPECT TO THE BOARD AND MANAGEMENT – MANAGMENT MEMBER REVEALS

The Board and Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have come under intense pressure following the resignation of Coach Prosper Ogum.

Mr. Ogum resigned on phone after a misunderstanding with the Management and Board of Directors during a zoom meeting. The coach and the Management had a meeting to plan for the upcoming season but unfortunately things did not go as expected.

A source close to the Management revealed to your truly that Coach Ogum did not show respect to the Management. The source disclosed that that has been Coach Prosper attitude which has been ruining their relationships for some time.

This reached climax when Coach Prosper declined to appear in person for another meeting. As the assistant coach, he is currently in Accra for the preparations for the Black Galaxies ahead of CHAN qualifiers.

The misunderstanding grew as a result of the new signings to beef up the team for the upcoming season. Reports indicate that the coach has penned down about 17 new players he would require for the new season. He is also reported to have asked for 10 players to be transferred from the team.

But the Board are still in talks with the coach to convince him to alter his decision. They have even alerted the High Chiefs of Manhyia to come in if the need be.
