Todd Boehly is a fan of the Austrian but is backing Graham Potter right nowPA

Glasner’s latest triumph came with an admirable 1-1 draw against perennial German champions Bayern Munich.

And Bild claims the Austrian tactician has a big fan in Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

It’s said that the Blues made contact with Glasner last summer when Thomas Tuchel’s future came under the spotlight.

And he continues to be on Boehly’s shortlist in case he ever decides to pull the trigger on Potter.

The ex-Brighton man got off to a good start at Stamford Bridge before a dismal run of results saw Chelsea drop down the table.

But there is a feel-good factor around the club after some decent results and an influx of top talents.

Chelsea are also still in the Champions League and fans believe the only way is up as they also chase a new central midfielder before Tuesday’s deadline.

Boehly continues to support Potter after putting his money where his mouth is in the transfer window.

But with the American keeping one eye on Glasner, Potter will be aware he must start getting wins under his belt, especially in the Premier League.

Chelsea’s interest in Glasner comes after club icon Jose Mourinho was linked with a return for a THIRD spell.
