The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in an international friendly match on Friday, June 4th 2021. This match is to help Gernot Rohr’s men stay in top shape ahead of the September World Cup qualification games.

The Super Eagles have been unbeaten in the last five fixtures, recording a 3-0 home win against Lesotho in the last ACN qualifier clash in March. Meanwhile, Cameroon has only won once in their past seven matches. The Indomitable Lions team are currently winless in the past four games. This match will be the sixth match between the two nations in the last 20 years, with Cameroon still in the hunt for their first win against the Super Eagles since the turn of the century.

Nigeria and Cameroon last faced each other in July of 2019, when the Super Eagles prevailed 3:2 win in the last 16 clash of the Africa Cup of Nations. The Super Eagles are on a run of two back-to-back victories and will aim to see off a weakened Cameroon side. Kelechi Iheanacho, Peter Olayinka and Paul Oncuhe are all available to lead the lines for the Nigerian team.
