Newcastle vs Arsenal betting tips
Newcastle continue their hunt for Champions League football next term when they welcome Arsenal to St James’ this weekend.
The Toon’s run of eight wins in nine games has thrust them into a strong position to reach the top four this campaign.
They’ve done it with a bit of style too, scoring 13 goals in their last three outings.
They head into the weekend with a six-point cushion over fifth place Liverpool, and have played a game less too.

For the Gunners, their 3-1 win over Chelsea got them back to winning ways after a four-game winless run.
That has put them as the chasers in the title race and not the chasees, as they head into the weekend a point behind Manchester City, with City playing first this weekend and having a game in hand.
They need some major favours if they want to finish the season with the title and can’t afford any slip ups of their own, with this fixture a stand out in terms of difficulty in their run-in.
The bookies can’t split them either, with Ladbrokes going 7/5 for a home win and 7/4 for the Gunners to win – with 5/2 about the draw.
Arsenal haven’t beaten Newcastle in their last two comings together, having won the three previous games before that.

Callum Wilson had an exceptional April in front of goal, despite having to share much of his game time with Alexander Isak.
Wilson bagged eight goals last month, the most by any Newcastle player in one calendar month in Premier League history.
He was used as a half time sub at the weekend and should come back in from the start here.
