Ben Acheampong reveals how Agent tried to trick Ghana Embassy in Egypt sign contract on his behalf

 Ben Acheampong, the former Zamalek player who the club has duped over $1.1 million has revealed how the Egyptian giant collaborated with an agent to trick the Ghana embassy in Egypt sign a contract on his behalf.Zamalek in a letter to FIFA, had announced a settlement with Nader El Sayed, Acheampongs agent that the player had supposedly agreed to accept just $250,000 from the amount owed him instead of the $1.1 million.Nader El Sayed had claimed to represent the Ghanaian footballer since 2016 till date.”The player is my player since 2016 until now and all agreements and authorisations are official and documented,” El Sayed told BBC Sport Africa.Acheampong stated the contrary saying Nader El Sayed, was no longer his representative since 2018 and had no power to negotiate any deal on his behalf after Zamaleks letter stating the players agent had agreed to take the $250,000.Nader El Sayed then after CAS ruling on the matter asked the Ghana embassy in Cairo to stamp a document bearing Acheampongs name which was declined by the Ghanaian officials.According to the BBC, El Sayed had explained to the Ghanaian officials that Ben Acheampong had failed to be present because he had contracted the COVID-19 which the player denied those claims.The documents were to confirm Acheampongs approval of agreeing to take the $250,000 which he said those documents were falsified.Acheampong reported the club to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for “immoral”, “intimidating” and “merciless” behaviour.After several months, CAS ordered the club to pay the former Wa All Stars player the monies owed him, but the striker is yet to receive a dime from the Egyptian club.
