Bayern star Jerome Boateng leaves Club World Cup following the death of ex-partner Kasia Lenhardt

 German and Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng has asked permission to return home after the death of his ex-girlfriend Kasia Lenhardt.The 25-year old was found dead in an apartment in Berlin on Tuesday just after a week that the couple broke up. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.The couple dated for more than a year but were recentlyinvolved in a very public and messy break-up.Boateng currently with the Bayern Munich team in Qatar, has asked permission to be excused from the Club World Cup final game against UANL Tigers following the death of his ex-partner and head home.He has been granted permission by the team which was confirmed by Bayern coach Hans Flick at the press conference: “That took us all away. Jrme came to my room and asked me to go home””We have granted his wish on the club side. After the negative corona test, he will travel home and will not be available to us until further notice.”Boateng will miss Bayern’s ClubWorld Cupfinal match against Tigres on Thursday.
