 Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau will be out of action for at least 10 days when he returns to his club after the international break due to quarantine regulations.Tau who plays for English Premier League side Brighton travelled back home to South Africa for the Afcon qualifier against Ghana.South Africa is currently on the red list of the UK as a coronavirus hotspot thus athletes returning from those countries will have to quarantine for 10 days at an airport hotel.According to Percy Tau, it was a smooth communication between SAFA and Brighton for his release for the upcoming games against Ghana and Sudan.Tau was grateful too that Brighton manager Graham Potter showed an understanding of the importance of the games against Ghana and Sudan. The player said Potter also saw the value in Tau getting game time for Bafana.I think the games are important we are all aware of that. And I was grateful that the communications between Bafana and Brighton were successful and they were able to allow me to come Tau said at FNB Stadium on Tuesday ahead of Bafanas second training session before meeting Ghana.

I know that from some teams it was difficult to allow the players to come over. But for me it was smooth and they were able to reach an agreement even though I have to go and quarantine for 10 days.

Tau also added that it is opportunity to help his team fight for a place in next years AFCON tournament.
