Arsenal fans furious at club’s ’embarrassing’ response to Champions League exit and demand ‘delete this’

Joshua Kimmich‘s header was enough to separate the sides and send Bayern through 3-2 on aggregate.

Arsenal‘s official Twitter account posted: “A Champions League journey to be proud of”.

And supporters blasted the post as they flooded the comment section.

One fuming Gunner posted: “Proud of? We beat Porto on penalties and lost to the worst Bayern team in a decade. Pathetic.”

A second commented: “Not levels.. delete this tweet.”

A third wrote: “Proud of bottling? Embarrassing.”

A fourth replied: “We played like s*** what’s to be proud of.”

A fifth said: “Nah nah nah nah they didn’t just say this. Nah deactivate. DEACTIVATE.”

Another added: “Proud of? Nothing to be proud of. Failed every single trophy as usual.”

Arsenal’s only hope of silverware this season is now the Premier League title.

However they suffered a blow in the race on Sunday as they lost to Aston Villa.

This means that Manchester City now have the initiative out of themselves, Arsenal and Liverpool.
