Alfred Duncan to return to Cagliari starting line-up against Roma
Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan will start Cagliari’s Serie A clash against AS Roma after his substitute role in midweek.Duncan came off the bench to play 12 minutes as Cagliari earned an important win against Udinese on Wednesday.Although the decision to leave Duncan on the bench was an unpopular one, a 1-0 victory vindicated Leonardo Semplici.Duncan, however, will return to the starting lineup, on Sunday against a tough opposition, Roma, who are fighting for a European spot.Cagliari must win to boost their survival hopes. They are currently three points from safety with six games to end the season.Duncan joined Cagliari on loan in January, with the club having an option to sign him on a permanent basis.
