7TH HEAVEN: Ghana’s Kamal Sowah scores as OH Leuven defeat KV Kortrijk

Kamal SowahGhanaian youngster Kamal Sowah netted his seventh Belgian Jupilar Pro League goal for OH Leuven in the 3-0 win against KV Kortrijk on Friday.OH Leuven went into the game at the Den Dreef Stadium with the aim of ending their six-game winless streak.The Leuven-based club were deservedly put ahead in quick fashion by Thomas Henry in the 10th minute.The French youngster made it 2-0 for his side ten minutes later.Kamal Sowah took the game beyond the visitors with a powerful strike in the 40th minute via Thomas Henrys assist.Belgian forward Zinho Gano managed to pull a goal back for the visitors in the 52nd minute but it was too late for the visitors to stage a comeback.Sowah enjoyed full throttle for OH Leuven as they finished the game with a 3-1 victory.He has scored 7 goals and registered 4 assists in 26 games in all competitions.His compatriot, Isaac Asante came on for David Hubert in the 95th minute for the victors.Eric Ocansey meanwhile played 70 minutes for Kortrijk but Emmanuel Adjei Sowah did not make their Matchday squad.
