— Ghana Leagues Goals (@GHLeagueGoals) April 24, 2021 Kotoko came into the second half desperate to salvage something from the game, but Medeama were resolute. The defeat is the first for Kotoko under Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto and their first since March 5 when they were beaten 1-0 by Elmina Sharks. It is a wonderful result for Medeama, who were without their star man Justice Blay. The midfielder missed the opportunity to face his former club due to a bad injury he suffered last week.Yaw Preko’s side have taken over the mantle as league leaders, but need Great Olympics to drop points at Elmina Sharks so they will end matchday 21 at the top.
