 Legon Cities once again bottled it at home on matchday six of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, losing to Ebusua Dwarfs by 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.It was the second defeat suffered by head coach Bashiru Hayford after taking charge of the job from Goran Barjaktarevi.The Royals have been poor this season despite the huge recruitment of players to beef up the squad prior of the start of the season. Asamoah Gyan issuing out instructions to his colleagues from the sidelinesAsamoah Gyan who joined the club in a big-money move has also failed to impress and is currently ruled out for two weeks due to injury.According to the head coach Bashiru Hayford, the team has to work harder to avoid relegation.”I am very very worried about the team not disappointed. I identified the problems when I came in immediately and we have worked on it several times, probably, we need to do more together,” Bashir Hayford said after the game.The Royals suffered a disappointing home defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night, leaving the club rooted at the bottom of the league.Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Acquah scored twice before the half-hour mark, but Legon Cities pulled one back right at the stroke of half time through defender Joseph Adjei. Acquah celebrates his goal against Legon CitiesBut Legon Cities were awarded a penalty at the stroke of half time which was converted by former Ghana U-20 defender Joseph Adjei.The win lifts Dwarfs to six on the table with Legon Cities misery compounding as they fall deep into the relegation dogfight.
