Mbappe has become one of the hottest properties in world football and Real president Florentino Perez is reportedly keen on making him the newest Galactico at the Bernabeu.

He has been said to be close to a move to the Spanish capital on a number of occasions, but his new £500million contract at the Parc Des Princes seemed to put any rumours to bed.

However Real Madrid have revisited their interest in signing the superstar with recent reports also suggesting Mbappe himself would be open to the deal.

He is currently leading the race for the golden boot in Ligue 1 with 13 goals in 17 appearances and has an impressive seven goals in six Champions League appearances this season.

Real Madrid are not the only possible suitors for the rapid forward as Premier League strugglers Liverpool are also said to be interested in luring him away from Paris.

Reports have put a dampener on the hopes of Red’s fans though as it has been suggested that Mbappe turned down a move to Anfield in the summer.
