Tommy Fury announces return to ring against UFC star two years after controversial Jake Paul win

TOMMY FURY has announced his ring return – two years after beating Jake Paul.

Tyson Fury‘s brother and former Love Island star will take on ex-UFC ace Darren Till at Manchester’s Co-op Live on January 18.

Fury, 25, has been busy away from boxing and also split from long-term partner Molly-Mae Hague in August.

He’s won all his 10 bouts but the last was a controversial split-decision victory in February 2023 over Paul, who beat Mike Tyson this weekend.

Confirming his return, the Mancunian posted on social media: “I’M BACK” – along with the date and opponent.

His rival, 31-year-old Till, has never boxed before.

The Liverpudlian notched up 24 MMA fights, recording 18 wins and challenging for the UFC world welterweight title in 2018.

But his career waned dramatically after that.

Till lost four of his next five bouts following that defeat in his biggest ever contest.

And he left the UFC early last year – in fact, in the very same month Fury was last in action.

It comes just after one-time reality TV star Fury gave fans a glimpse of his new home after moving out of the £3.5million mansion he shared with Molly-Mae.

They got engaged and have a daughter – Bambi, one.

But three months ago Molly-Mae went on YouTube to reveal their Love Island romance was over.
