Former Nigeria Tijani Babangida has emphasized that a clause must be included in the contract of the incoming Super Eagles coach.
Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has made it clear that there is no going back in hiring a foreign coach for the senior national team, with a homegrown coach Augustine Eguavoen failing to qualify the national team for the 2022 World Cup despite all the support he received from the Ministry of Sports and NFF.
Speaking to Naija News and other journalists on Wednesday, He said: “At this moment they’ve already made up their mind to bring a foreign coach.
“It should be in his contract that he must stay in Nigeria and watch games in the Nigeria Professional Football League”.
