St. Pauli forward Daniel Kyereh apologizes after kicking camera in defeat to Dusseldorf

Ghanaian forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh has apologized after reacting angrily to his substitution in St Pauli dfeat to Fortuna Dusseldorf by kicking a camera. The player showed remorse after the game by apologizing following his side’s 3-0 defeat in the Bundesliga II to Fortuna Dusseldorf.Kyereh who was replaced by Leon Flach in the 89th minute was unhappy as he walked off the pitch, venting his frustrations by hitting the camera.Coach Timo Schultz said after the game following the player’s action,He’s a very sensitive, fine guy. We will find a solution there. In principle, I prefer when a player is angry and disappointed than when he just lets it go.”Meanwhile, Sports Director Andreas Bornermann insists the player acted out of the emotions he felt at that timewith his team losing. It always has two sides. An emotional impulse that shows that he doesnt care that he is changed. To take this out on an opposing condition that takes damage and belongs to another is of course unacceptable. The person who caused it has to replace it.I wouldn’t want to make more of it.A fine would be clearly too much for me for what happened there. In other words, the case is closed,” said Bornermann.
