 Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom captained Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade for the first time against Backa in the Serbian Super League on Sunday.The 27-year old prior to the game was honored by the club after reaching a century of game for the club since making his debut in the 2017/18 season.Boakye-Yiadom came on a substitute in the 46th minute to replace Njegos Petrovic in the second half.He was handed the captain’s armband and helped his side to secure a 2-0 win over Backa in the game.Mirko Ivanic scored the first goal of the game in the 46th minute quickly after the Ghana International was brought on.Diego Falcinelli made it 2-0 to secure the win for the home side in this fixture.Boakye Yiadom in a post on social media thanked his team mates for the opportunity given to serve them”Thanks to my team mate and all members of@crvenazvezdafk …Captain Bocko”Boakye Yiadom has made six appearances in the ongoing campaign and has scored two goals.  View this post on Instagram
