‘Rather eat the box’ – Fans left disgusted at Rotherham’s ‘half-cooked’ £4.20 cheeseburger

FOOTBALL fans were left disgusted after seeing the state of a “half-cooked” cheeseburger sold at Rotherham.

The shocking grub even set the unlucky customer back £4.20.

A picture of the dodgy looking cheeseburger was uploaded by Twitter account @FootyScran.

One side of it was barely cooked, while the other side looked like it had been on the grill for far too long.

The burger is alleged to be off the menu from Championship side Rotherham’s New York Stadium.

And fans on social media were left recoiling by what they saw.

One joked: “Rather eat the box.”

Another quipped: “That’s a cow hoof.”

A third added: “I don’t know what’s worse… half cooked or the cheese on the bottom.”

And a fourth said: “What on earth is this? Looks more like a thick piece of carpet on a bap.”

Football supporters often share their horror stories of matchday food to social media.

Luckily for Rotherham, their last performance on the pitch was far better than one certain burger in the stands.

The Millers thrashed high-flying Blackburn 4-0 at home on Saturday.

However, Matt Taylor’s side are still just four points clear of the drop zone ahead of a trip to third-placed Watford.
