PSG chief admits it is ‘very difficult’ to sign Cristiano Ronaldo on free transfer with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in team

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has all but RULED OUT signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old superstar admitted he could see himself lining up next to Lionel Messi in a club shirt when he gave a blockbuster interview with Piers Morgan last month.

PSG president Al-Khelaifi claims it is unlikely the French champions will sign RonaldoRex

But PSG already boast the world’s best young forward in Kylian Mbappe.

And Al-Khelaifi admitted there’s not much chance of adding the Portugal striker Ronaldo to the squad.

He said: “With the three players we have up front [Mbappe, Messi and Neymar], it’s very difficult [to recruit Ronaldo].

“But I wish him the best. He is fantastic and he remains an incredible player.”

Claims from a Spanish outlet said that he is due to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on January 1 in a stunning £173million-a-year deal.

However, SunSport understands a deal is yet to be sealed.

The PSG chief meanwhile, has gone public in his praise of Jude Bellingham.

But he concedes it will be a tough transfer battle as “everybody” wants to sign the England ace.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi said: “Amazing player, what a player.

“England are lucky to have him, to be honest. He’s one of the best players in the tournament.

“Amazing – his first World Cup. He’s calm and relaxed, confident – amazing.

“Everybody wants him, I’m not going to hide it.

“He’s at his club and we have respect, so if we want to talk to him we’ll talk to the club first.”

Bellingham, 19, has been the Three Lions’ main man at the Qatar World Cup.

The midfielder shined in several roles before coming into his own as a tenacious No10 against Senegal.

And Bellingham will be at the forefront of England’s quarter-final clash against France on Saturday.
