“Ole Is An Outstanding Human Being” – Ronaldo Reacts To Solskjaer Sack As Man United Coach

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the coach of the English Premier League side.

Naija News recalls Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday by the United management following Saturday’s embarassing 4-1 defeat in the hands of Watford.

He was immediately replaced by Michael Carrick who will occupy the position on a temporary basis until the club can bring in a replacement for the sacked manager.

About 24 hours after the sack, Ronaldo who made a sensational return to Manchester Unied during the last transfer window has reacted to the development.

In his reaction, Ronaldo praised 48-year-old Solskjaer both as a player and a coach, describing him as an outstanding human being while wishing him the best in future endeavours.

“He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man. United,”

“But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend! You deserve it,” Ronaldo tweeted.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer himself has reacted to his contract termination at Manchester United.

Speaking in an emotional interview with the club’s in-house media team after he was fired from United, the Norwegian said he hopes to have left United in a better state than he inherited the club three years ago.

Solskjaer said though the club means everything to him and together they were really a good match, unfortunately, he couldn’t get the results the club had anticipated.
