Super Eagles technical adviser, Austin Eguaveon said the result in Kumasi was a fair result.
Speaking to Naija News after the recovery session yesterday, he expressed his belief ahead of the 2nd leg and how the team is in high spirit.
He said: “in high spirit and we are more than halfway through and I dose my hat for the players because they were resilient, they worked hard and think it was a fair result”
He confirmed that the team will take the game to Ghana and tried to get the balls to the attackers.
“We take the game to Ghana, we tried to take it to them in Kumasi and they were also very tough at the back and Amatey was good”
Nigeria face Ghana in the second leg of the World Cup qualifier in Abuja on Tuesday.
