Nigerians are in big trouble after an official of FIFA and CAF dies in Abuja. This came as a result of the turmoil from their fans in the qualifying game with Ghana.

The Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by Black Stars of Ghana in Abuja on Tuesday. This was after they had held Ghana to a barren draw in Kumasi last Friday. Ghana qualified on advantage of the away goal rule.

Nigerian fans at the stadium went on rampage as the results went against their expectations. They invaded the pitch and started destroying everything on sight.

Dr. Joseph Kabungo who was working as the doping officer for FIFA at the stadium had cardiac arrest as a result of the reaction of the fans. The Zambian Medical Practitioner died at the Hospital today after been rushed out of the Stadium in an ambulance. He is alleged to have been beaten by the angry fans who attacked official on sight. They trolled on him after he fell and became unconscious. Other doctors present revived him with CPR before rushing him to the hospital.

Police fired tear-gas to disperse the enraged fans but to no avail. Reinforcement was called in before they could be forced out of the stadium. Both teams were kept in the dressing rooms with tight security before been whisked away at the blind side of the fans. Ghanaian supporters were also kept in the tunnel for almost two hours before they were allowed to go and board their buses.

FIFA and CAF are yet to officially release any statement. But it is expected that Nigeria will be sanctioned.
