Mubarak Wakaso happy to make debut in Shenzhen win over Henan Songshan in Chinese top-flight
Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is happy to have made his debut for his new club Shenzhen FC against Henan Songshan Longmen in the Chinese Super League.The former Deportivo Alaves midfielder joined Shenzhen FC on a four-year deal as a free agent ahead of the start of the CSL season.Wakaso begun his season on a bright start with his side recording a 2-1 win against Songshan Longmen away.Shenzhen scored first through Ghanaian International Frank Acheampong in the 21st minute.Buya Turay got the equalizer for Hernan in the 31st minute as the first half ended in a draw.Just after recess, Kardec Alan restored the lead for Shenzhen in the 54 minute with the second goal of the game.Mubarak Wakaso was introduced into the game in the 76th minute to make his debut but was yellow-carded just after seven minutes on the pitch.
