Medeama goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi reacts to Black Stars call-up for Afcon qualifiers

Medeama goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi says he is happy after being called up by Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.Antwi has been named in 32 man squad made up of home-based players to start preparations for the games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe. They will later be joined by other foreign-based players.Reacting to his call up, he said, “Im happy and was really waiting for this call up to happen”.”I will do my possible best to put a smile in the faces of my fans. They should continue to pray for me”. With God all things are possible he added.Ghana are scheduled to take on the Bafana Bafana in round five of the qualifiers before tackling Sao Tome and Principe in the final qualifier.The Black Stars are tied on 9 points at the top of the standings in Group C after four matches with two games left.
