Laura Woods reveals sexy new nickname after stunning Dazn presenter shares pictures from hosting boxing


LAURA WOODS has revealed her sexy new nickname after presenting the Leigh Wood vs Mauricio Lara fight.

The much-loved sports presenter was working for DAZN as she hosted the featherweight bout between the two boxers.

While Wood beat Lara to become world champion again, it was Woodsy that stole the show.

She turned up to the event in a stunning black catsuit as she joked she was “moonlighting as Catwoman” on social media.

And she also revealed that the joke was not lost on her that the boxers’ names – Lara and Wood – closely resembled her own name.

Taking to Instagram after the fight, she wrote: “Moonlighting as Cat Woman .

“Lara v Wood presented by Laura Woods. Yes we found it hilarious .”

She shared the snaps with her 683k followers on the platform with many of them loving the snaps and new nickname.

One commented: “Okkkk Catwoman Woods.”

A second wrote: “You can be my Catwoman.”

Woods has built a reputation with her award-winning breakfast show on talkSPORT.

And she proved she has a knack for TV presenting while working for ITV at the Qatar World Cup, and could soon be presenting Champions League action too for the revamped BT Sport.

Woods also hosts NFL coverage for ITV and boxing on DAZN, while she also spent 13 years at Sky Sports.

She is a popular figure and was recently hailed for gifting a free dress to Wolves presenter Gemma Frith.
