Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has urged his teammates to ease the pressure on injured Wilfried Zaha.The Eagles have struggled for form without their talisman after slipping to 14th on the table.A second successive defeat to Burnley at home at the weekend has heightened pressure at the club.Palace have been without Wilfried Zaha – who is down with a hamstring injury to cast a reflection of how important he is to the squad.But Ghana striker Jordan Ayew is urging his colleagues to step up in the absence of the crocked nine goal star man.
He told Premier League Productions: Wilf is a big player for the team. He is a big miss for us but we have other good qualities in the team and we have to be ourselves.
We have to fight and we have to try and ease the pressure on Wilf as well and try to do the best we can to get points. Hopefully we start this on Monday.
