Jeremy Doku opens up about his relationship with Anderlecht coach Vincent Kompany

Ghanaian Jeremy Doku has opened up about his relationship with Manchester City legend Vicent Kompany, whom he worked with at Anderlecht.Kompany coached Doku for a season before the Belgium forward was transferred to French top-flight side Rennes.He joined Rennes in October 2020 but had to wait until March to score his first goal for the club. After the match, he spoke about his career, which included his time with Kompany.He said: “We’re both busy. He was everything to me. Coach, friend… He could be demanding. His experience, his tactical understanding was very good. And with me he was cool.Kompany knows how I’m made, how he should tackle me. He was one of the few who could put me in my place. He knew he had to let me down when I was in a bad mood.”Doku scored eight goals and supplied three assists under Kompany.
