Real Madrid has announced that former goalkeeper Iker Casillas has returned to the club as assistant director of the Real Madrid Foundation.
In a statement posted on its social media page, the club described its former star as its ambassador and the best goalkeeper in its history.
Iker Casilla won 19 trophies in his 25 years as a player for the club.
Among the trophies won by Iker Casillas in the team he has represented over 25 years are; 3 Champions Leagues, 3 World Cups, 2 Super Cups, 5 La Liga Cups, 2 Copa del Rey Cups, and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
The former sportsman will now work with the Youth Support Foundation and provide them with all the necessary training in the field of football.
Real Madrid is proud to welcome back the former player and hopes he will continue to use his skills to improve the club.
