SHOMEN UCHI (2.40 Chepstow, nap).
He ran in the Aintree bumper last season and showed lots of promise when second on hurdles debut at Hereford. She has had a little break since then and should improve for this longer trip.
KING WILLIAM RUFUS (5.00 Chepstow, nb)
He was second to Captain Teague on debut at Plumpton and he’s gone on to finish third in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. That speaks for itself and he can improve here.
LORD DU MESNIL (3.35 Carlisle, treble)
He will find this easier than the Warwick Classic he was midfield in last time. He earlier went close at Bangor and the soft ground will be ideal.
