Betfair certainly think so and price the Red Devils as the 10/3 favourties to sign the Benfica man.
The 21-year-old had only played nine minutes in the tournament before being thrown in at CR7’s expense against Switzerland.
Ramos had scored 14 times and provided six assists in 21 Benfica appearances before the World Cup and was already on the radar of Europe’s top clubs.
But his 73-minute showing against the Swiss saw his stock rise even further.
United are on the lookout for a centre forward to replace Ronaldo and could see that transition as the most obvious.
