Ghanaian defender Stephan Ambrosius is likely to miss the remainder of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.The 22-year-old got injured during the training and had to be transported away in a golf cart.His potential absence in the remaining games is a blow for Hamburger who are chasing promotion to the top-flight.Hamburger occupy the third spot (promotion play-off spot).But they are at risk of losing that position because fourth-placed Holstein Kiel have three outstanding games.He has made 26 outings for Hamburger SV in 2 Bundesliga this campaign.Ambrosius, born in Hamburg to Ghanaian parents, rejected a Black Stars call-up last month.
