Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng handed suspension in France
Enock KwatengGhanaian defender Enock Kwateng has been handed one-match suspension which rules him out of Bordeaux match of the year.Kwateng has been suspended after accumulating three yellow cards in eight matches in the French Ligue 1 this season.Thus, the 23-year-old will miss Bordeaux’s meeting with Reims next week Wednesday. His teammate Otavio, defensive midfielder, has also been handed similar punishment.The punishment was confirmed on Thursday evening by the disciplinary committee of the league.The right-back is in his second season with Ligue 1 side, having joined them in the summer of 2019 from Nantes.In his first season, he made a total of 15 appearances in all competitions.The former France youth international’s current contract with Bordeaux will expire in the summer of 2023.
