Ghana defender Andy Yiadom plays full throttle as Reading beat Bristol City
Defender Andy Yiadom continued his injury comeback with a strong performance as Reading returned to winning ways with victory over Bristol City in the English Championship on Tuesday night.Yiadom lasted the entire duration, his second full 90 minutes after returning from injury, as the Royals beat City 2-0 at Ashton Gate.The 29-year-old won a freekick in the 40th minute which resulted in the opening goal. Michael Olise delivered a beautiful inswinging cross and Lucas Joao controlled before stabbing it home.And just before half time Reading captain Michael Morrison doubled the lead following a good interchange of passes with Joao.Andy Yiadom who was making only his third start of the game impressed as Reading kept a clean sheet on the road.His return from the lay-off is good news for Ghana coach C.K Akonnor who is set to name his final squad for the AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and So Tom next month.
