Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien insists new manager Thomas Tuchel is the right man for the club.Tichel replaced Essien’s former teammate Frank Lampard a month ago and has led the club to the FA Cup semifinal as well as taking a commanding lead in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.Despite backing the appointment of the German, Essien has also praised former teammate Frank Lampard for the job he did in the 18 months he was in charge of Chelsea.I have to be proud of him for what he did because I think he did a very good job,” Essien told talkSPORTS.
