Division One League: Accra Lions held at home by Tema Youth

Evans Etti scored two goals in the second half of the matchBlack Stars newboy Evans Etti responded to his Black Stars call up with another strike as Accra Lions drew 1-1 with Tema Youth in a fiercely contested game at the Accra Sports Stadium.The hosts started the game brightly but it was the visitors who took an early lead through Evans Osei after Lions goalkeeperfailed to grab a the midfielders strike.Accra Lions created several chances and came close through forwards Etti and Rauf Salifu.Salifu should have leveled before the break but his effort went inches wide.Tema Youth nearly extended their lead after the break, but Accra Lions captain Ankrah twice stopped strikes from the attackers of the former premier League side.On the other hand, it was Salifu who came close after a cross from the right by Acheampong.Lions gather momentum after Oliver Amedeo came on for the misfiring Salifu.Minutes later, following a scrappy clearance, Evans Etti followed up from a header from Ankra to level for Lions.The hosts could have taken the lead through Etti again but his effort was equally met by a Tema Youth defender.Etti was then replace with ten minutes left as the game failed to produce another goal.
