Manchester United has announced that they will be missing three key players for their English Premier League clash with Chelsea this weekend.

The three players are, captain Harry Maguire, Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.

Naija News understands that Maguire received a red card in Man United’s 4-1 defeat to Watford last weekend, the development will have the England centre-back miss out on his club side trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, November 28.

United’s central midfielder, Pogba is currently out due to an injury he picked up while on international duty with France national team.

While centre-back Varane will also miss out of the Premier League game this weekend having suffered a thigh injury against Atalanta in the Champions League at the start of November.

Naija News understands that United confirmed the players participation status in a post via their official website on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has reportedly reached an agreement with German tactician Ralf Rangnick, a former RB Leipzig head coach, to become interim manager until the end of the season.

Naija News understands that the 63-year-old agreed to a six-month deal with Man United.

The former RB Leipzig manager is expected to be in the Red Devil’s dugout until the end of the 2021/22 season, when he will have a further two years in a consultancy role.

With the new deal, Ralf will leave his position as head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow.

The agreement is subject to Lokomotiv agreeing to release him from his contract.

According to The Athletic, the German would not be on the bench when Manchester United take on Chelsea in the Premier League due to work permit issue.
