Aston Villa give Liverpool false hope as Manchester City defend Premier League Title

Manchester City FC have won the 2021/2022 English Premier League Season after surviving a care on the last day. They have been able to defend their title they won last season in the hard way.
The Sky Blues won 3-2 against Aston Villa at the Ethihad Stadium on Sunday. Villa went up by two goals after 69 minutes of play.
The Citizens were able to turn things around within five minutes to salvage all three points to retain their Premier League title.
Ikay Gundogan got a brace for the Sky Blues and Rodrigo Hernandez also got one to make it 3. Ikay scored on the 76th minute with Rodri adding the second one two minutes later. Ikay then made it three on the 81st minute.
Meanwhile Liverpool were on their tails as they won 3-1 against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield. The Reds needed Manchester City to lose before they could claim the title but they was a short lived dream.
Wolves went up as early as the 3rd minute to make the initial stages very challenging for Liverpool. The Reds pushed harder to earn a point before the break for the half time.
Sadio Mane equalized for Liverpool on the 24th minute to get his team back on track. The second half got more interesting as Liverpool tried to push for the win when Manchester City was down by two goals.
Mohammed Salah came on as a substitute to score a goal for Liverpool at the 84th minute to make it 2-1. Andrew Robertson sealed it with the third goal five minutes later.
Manchester City won the league with 93 points and Liverpool followed with 92 points.
