Antrim sensation Josh Rock vows ‘I can go all the way’ at World Darts Championship after dumping out Callan Rydz
JOSH ROCK vowed he can “go all the way” after dumping out red-hot Callan Rydz.
The Antrim ace smashed last year’s quarter-finalist 3-0 to set up a mouthwatering fourth-round World Championship clash with Nathan Aspinall.

Despite all the attention in his debut Worlds, Rock, 21, is not happy with his form, saying: “I believe I can go all the way.
“But Josh Rock needs to turn up now.
“I was expecting Callan to play a lot better than he did. He missed far too many doubles. It was a really scrappy game.”
Rock will face The Asp on Tuesday — and is ready for an explosive clash.
He added: “Nathan beat me in the European Championship but I know I can beat him.
“There will be loads of fireworks because I will be ready for that game.”
Elsewhere, Cork’s John O’Shea twice came from two legs down to take a 2-0 lead against DARIUS LABANAUSKAS of Lithuania — only to crash out 3-2.
DAVE CHISNALL had an early scare before beating Andrew Gilding 3-1 having lost the opening set.
He beamed: “I know the firepower is there.”
MERVYN KING survived a huge fightback from Danny Baggish to squeeze through with a 3-2 win.

Meanwhile GARY ANDERSON admitted he once could not even win a raffle — now he has got the most successful Ally Pally numbers.
The Flying Scotsman has won more matches on the North London World Championship stage than anyone, even legend Phil Taylor.
Since moving from the BDO and making his debut in 2010, Anderson has been victorious 48 times.
And over the past six years Ando has pocketed earnings of £1,019 per leg or £59 per dart.
But the No 11 seed plays Latvian Madars Razma, 34, on his 52nd birthday tonight, knowing an early exit could send him out of the elite bracket in the sport.
He said: “It’s a nice statistic. Mind you, it might well come to an end soon enough!
“I have done five finals there, had some semi-finals and other good runs.
“I couldn’t win a raffle draw when I was playing on the BDO at the Lakeside but the Ally Pally’s been different.
“I’m not sure what has done it — maybe the crowd. The atmosphere is always superb.
“Just seeing the place will get the juices going again.
“I’ve never started on the 23rd. It’s weird and it’s given me an extra week to get a practice board on the go.”
