Afcon qualifiers: Three Asante Kotoko players in Ghana starting line-up to face South Africa

Kwame Opoku having a chart with Black Stars coach CK Akonnor.Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor included three Asante Kotoko players in his starting line-up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifying match against South Africa.The three players are goalkeeper Razak Abalora, centre-back Ismail Ganiyu and Kwame Opoku, who recently completed a move to Algerian side USM Alger.Akonnor has been impressed by their performance in training and rewarded with starting berth. Aside from Abalora, Ganiyu and Opoku are making their debuts.The trio are expected to help the Black Stars beat South Africa and secure qualification to the tournament in Cameroon.Ghana are top of Group C with nine points – the same as South Africa and Sudan – due to a superior head-to-head record.
