British boxing fans were eager to see what all the hype surrounding the 17-stone teen was about.
And it took only 14 seconds for them to see why so many in the business are so high on him.
Itauma needed only THREE punches to take out fellow rookie Marcel Bode โ whose head was frazzled by the Slovakian-born Britโs piston straight right.
Itaumaโs final crushing blow was a true showcase of his power as Bode had his gloves up when he blocked a right hand.
The short night at the office will no doubt lead to a quick turnaround for Itauma.
But heโll have no problem with that as heโs hell-bent on replacing Tyson as the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
He told SunSport: โMe and my brother have talked about me breaking that record and just looking at the dates and the maths, it is very doable.
โKarol told me, โIf anyone can do it then you can.โ And I believe I can do it.

โThe current world champions now are in their thirties and the ones that are coming up, supposedly to replace them.
โI reckon I can do all of them.โ
Itauma knows time is of the essence if heโs to etch his name into the history books.
The Kent killer said: โItโs not easy to get a world title shot, I can only get in there and fight.

โSo I will not get angry at the things I cannot control.
โ20th May, 2025 is the day to do it by and it sounds miles away but it will come around quickly.
โPhysically I am still a boy compared to the lot ahead of me.
โSo I am working on growing into being a man. I think I will be alright.โ
