16 Women’s Premier League should have one female in coaching staff next season- GFAÂ
The Ghana Executive Council FA has directed that all the 16 Women’s Premier League teams should have a female coach as part of their technical team for the 2021/22 season.The decision was taken at the Ghana FA Executive Council meeting held last week Wednesday with the aim of getting more female coaches in the elite division.Each club is expected to have one female in the top three positions in the coaching staff.In a statement from the Ghana FA this is to encourage female participation in coaching, build opportunities for female coaches, provide positive role models for girls, promote fair-play and co-operation and to help build strong, basic technical fundamentals and create social support structures for Womens football.The FA has also decided to have some Women’s League matches as curtains raiser tosome big Ghana Premier League matches.
